It is necessary for Sexual Abuse Survivors Get Help! Issues such as anger, guilt, blame and other feelings that come up in therapy enable them to give up their roles as self-destructive victims. Clients are often unaware of the effect the abuse has on their behavior. They need to know sexual victimization may be at the root of many problems. As a result, when Sexual Abuse Survivors Get Help! there is a beautiful resolution of issues which are preventing them from peace and joy in their lives.
Unfortunately, a victim who has not had help to heal rarely develops a healthy, lasting, intimate relationship. If it is not anger getting in the way, it can simply be naivety. They so not understand what healthy boundaries are (how could they?) nor how to discern who is a healthy, safe person to get involved with. The familiarity of being dominated an/or abuse becomes part of a pattern where the victim repeats their past. or sometimes flips it so that he or she becomes the abuser instead of the victim But they still remain a victim robbed of their chance of a functional life and healthy relationships.
Everyone deserve a chance to change and should have access to those who are qualified to help such as myself. I am a Life Coach who specializes in the treatment of sexual abuse survivors. The client needs to find a therapist who is experienced in dealing with the dynamics of sexual abuse who therefore will not be shocked or critical of what they reveal. Often survivors do not obtain help because they feel guilty or shameful or fear a negative reaction. Because of the therapist’s position of power and authority, a therapist can absolutely demolish a survivors’s self-esteem, which is already shaky, with a reaction of anything less than supportive and accepting.
